To whom this may concern,

The National Federation of the Blind of Georgia is writing you to ask that you and/or your company be willing to participate as a sponsor and/or an exhibitor for our annual state convention. For over forty ninth years, our organization has been standing strong in its goal of changing what it means to be blind.

The National Federation of the Blind of Georgia is a volunteer consumer advocacy organization, currently maintaining tax exempt status under section 501C-3 of the Internal Revenue code. The ultimate purpose of our organization is the complete integration of the blind into society on a basis of equality.

The National Federation of the Blind of Georgia knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. We need you to remember that blindness is not wat holds you back, you can live the life you want.

Our convention provides an opportunity for blind citizens in the state of Georgia to network and strategize on best practices for employment, social development, education, and overall independence in the state of Georgia.

We are hoping that you and/or your company will support our organization by agreeing to be a sponsor and/or an Exhibitor during the convention on Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th, 2022.

The National Federation of the Blind of Georgia’s 2022 state convention will be held in the city of Atlanta Georgia, at the beautiful Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. We would like to invite you to participate as a sponsor and/or an Exhibitor during our convention. Your participation will help us to continue to provide many programs and services for the blind in the state of Georgia.

We asked that you please consider the opportunities described on the next pages to participate as a sponsor or exhibitor at our state convention this year. Our convention hotel is the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, located at 165 Cortland Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.

Your kindness and support would go a long way as we serve one of our most important and vulnerable populations in many ways. We appreciate the consideration of our request.

Every year, blind people from across Georgia gather at our state convention to learn about key legislative issues impacting the blind community, discover innovative programs and resources, experience innovative technology, and build relationships with blind people from across the state.

We will also be discussing key legislative issues in Georgia. Our Senior Division will host a possibility fair for blind seniors. We will host meetings with our blind students division. There will be opportunities and knowledge for all blind members and their families attending our convention.
