To Whom It May Concern,
The National Federation of the Blind of Georgia (NFBGA) is excited to request your participation in our annual State Convention as a Sponsor or Exhibitor on October 7-8 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Sheraton Hotel. Our Convention is the largest gathering of blind people in the state of Georgia and provides an opportunity for blind citizens to network and strategize on best practices for employment, social development, education, and overall independence.
For 49 years, our organization has been standing strong in its goal of changing what it means to be blind. We advocate at all levels for a fully accessible and inclusive Georgia and connect blind people to the resources and support they need to transform dreams into reality. We believe that blindness is not the characteristic that defines blind people and our future. We raise the expectations of blind people every day because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. With hope, love, and determination, we shall live the lives we want. Your support is needed to strengthen our empowering movement.
We believe you and/or your company is uniquely positioned to support our efforts, and your products, services, or philanthropic work aligns with our strategic goal of creating an inclusive, equitable, and accessible Georgia for the blind. The National Federation of the Blind of Georgia is a volunteer consumer advocacy organization, currently maintaining tax exempt status under section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue code. Sponsor and Exhibitor opportunities are presented on the next page.
Every year, blind people attend our Convention to reaffirm their belief in independence, equality, accessibility, and inclusivity. Your support helps us show Georgia that vision is not needed to live a fulfilling life. With our determination and your generosity, we will continue to change what it means to be blind. We sincerely appreciate your support and look forward to having you a part of the NFBGA experience.
Respectfully,
Dorothy Griffin
