Decatur Area Chapter, National Federation of the Blind of Georgia
About the Chapter
The Decatur Area Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Georgia is a dynamic, 21st Century Chapter. We focus on advocacy and support of blind people of all ages. We also assist individuals with learning self-advocacy. The Chapter currently assists newly blinded individuals with information on tools and training resources for living independent quality lives.
We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines us or our future, that with proper tools and training, blind individuals can live the lives they want. We
We welcome all interested parties to join us at our meetings, where you will find a warm, supportive environment for social interaction and service to others in the blind community.
